Malcolm, that's why we have to think before we act. I am aware of impluses and how damaging it can be when we spantaneously do things especially in anger. Mama would say, "Count to ten and squeeze your big toe into the ground" I try that and believe me my toe hurts so bad I forget what I was going to do.Old people are smart because the pain in the toe was so much that my concentration was on the toe and not the problem. Time waits for no man therefore, time should be used as precious gold. Can't live in a glass house and throw stones. The windows will break. Hence don't throw any stones because you cannot control it when it leaves your hands. The tongue is like a sharp razor. We have to be very careful of what/how we say things. Words are wind and blow is un-kind but many times we say things that we would like to take back and we can't. Fist impression. Arrogrance and ignorance should have no place in a person's heart. It takes two to tangle. A man walks away from an altercation and is referred to as a coward but coward men are brave men because their thinking are wise.

Continued: Therefore, first impression is lasting. If you missed that chance you would have to try again with someone else. Sometimes failures are destined, Don't cry over spilled milk. Go buy more where it is sold.

u never get a second chance for the first impression but theres always a first chance at the second one....so if its worth it make the second one more memorable than the first

I'd have to say no....first impressions last...and a second would be like an after thought... it all depends on who is being impressed and for what reason.
